Professor Afat Mammadova, the Dean of the Faculty of Biology, and Professor Ulviyya Hasanova, the Head of the Department of Biomedical Materials of ICESCO participated in the training "Biological test models for continuous environmental monitoring" organized by the "EGEHAYMER" Research Center of Ege University in Türkiye.

During their visit to Ege University, BSU professors also had the opportunity to meet with several Turkish scientists, including Dean of the Science Faculty, Dincher Ayaz, Department Head Kerim Çiçek, Professor Ismayil Turkan, Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Professor Ferah Sayım, Esra Ömeroglu, and other scientists. These meetings facilitated discussions regarding potential joint international projects between BSU and Ege University.
