BSU Projects Receive Support in Azerbaijan–Türkiye Competition
The Azerbaijan Science Foundation and Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye announced the results of the 4th joint international Azerbaijan–Türkiye grant competition, AzTürk-4.
Among the seven projects selected for funding within the framework of cooperation between the ASF and TÜBİTAK, three international research projects involving scientists from Baku State University were also awarded support.
According to the competition results, funding was granted to a project jointly led by BSU Associate Professor Ziya Aliyev and Associate Professor Engin Durgun of Bilkent University. In addition, a project headed by BSU Professor Ulviyya Hasanova and Professor Sevil Yücel of Yıldız Technical University was also among the winning projects.
Another supported project, led jointly by BSU Associate Professor Aygun Israilova and Associate Professor Nazli Ataç of Koç University, was recognized as one of the research initiatives aimed at addressing contemporary scientific challenges.
The supported projects cover priority fields including nanotechnology, materials science, artificial intelligence, applied physics, and digital technologies.
