The Webometrics Ranking of World Universities has released its results for the first half of 2024. According to the ranking list, BSU has climbed to 233rd place, securing the 3295th position among 31,606 higher education institutions worldwide. Additionally, BSU has achieved a new milestone by rising to 1051st place among 5985 universities in Europe and 232nd place among 2692 universities in Central and Eastern Europe. It is also noteworthy that, according to the "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities," BSU ranks first in the country for "Transparency."

The Webometrics indicators aim to gauge the attention given by institutions and universities to online publishing, ultimately supporting open access initiatives to enhance the dissemination of scientific knowledge to society.
