Elchin Babayev, Rector of Baku State University (BSU), met with Leyla Gasimova, Head of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Vienna.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Austria, prospects for cooperation, and joint initiatives to promote cultural heritage.

Elchin Babayev emphasized that BSU places significant importance on expanding its international relations, stressing the need to further integrate the university with leading global scientific and educational institutions. He also highlighted the value of increasing participation by BSU students and faculty in international exchange programs, as well as strengthening the university's involvement in prestigious academic networks.

Leyla Gasimova shared information about the activities of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center and the projects aimed at promoting the country's culture in Austria. She expressed the Center’s readiness to support BSU's collaboration with Austrian universities and research institutions.

Both sides identified areas for future integration and affirmed their commitment to advancing new joint projects.
