Baku State University (BSU) Rector Elchin Babayev met with BSU students who have been awarded the "Birincilik" scholarship.

The Rector stated that, by decision of the BSU Academic Council, the "Birincilik" scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate the highest results among applicants admitted to undergraduate programs in the 2025/2026 academic year and who score over 550 points. Elchin Babayev congratulated the students—"the first of the first"—who have been awarded this prestigious scholarship and wished them success in their studies.

Advisor to the rector Aydin Kazimzade and deans of the faculties of social sciences and psychology, and of oriental studies and philology Rovshan Javadov, Aidan Khandan, and Elchin Mamedov also spoke at the meeting.

As a reminder, 28 BSU students were awarded the "Birincilik" scholarships.
