BSU Rector Elchin Babayev took part in the 65th Session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UN COPUOS) in Vienna, on June 6, 2022.

Rector Elchin Babayev attended the workshop of the International Space Weather Initiative (ISWI) program. The parties agreed to hold a «Workshop on the International Space Weather Initiative: The Sun, Space Weather and Geosphere» from October 31 to November 4, 2022 at BSU.

The Workshop aims to discuss the deployment of research equipment and tools in developing countries as well as professional training.
