Elchin Babaev, Rector of Baku State University (BSU), visited Peking University in the People's Republic of China (PRC). Fang Fang, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, provided detailed information about Peking University, founded in 1898.

Rector Elchin Babaev emphasized that BSU places special importance on integrating with Chinese universities. Particularly, he expressed a positive assessment of the potential for collaboration with Peking University. An agreement was reached to sign documents on integration and a dual-degree program between BSU and Peking University. The agreement includes student and faculty exchanges, joint research, collaborative events, mutual lectures and training sessions, participation in international projects, and cooperation in various areas.

BSU Rector and the university delegation familiarized themselves with the infrastructure and campus of Peking University.
