Baku State University (BSU) took part in the 62nd “Library Week” held in Türkiye. Within the event, a panel entitled “Knowledge Beyond Borders: Information and Document Management in Azerbaijan” was jointly organized by BSU and Bartın University.

The panel was moderated by Associate Professor Ahmet Altay, who highlighted the significance of “Library Week,” held annually since 1964, in promoting librarianship and information science.

Associate Professor Nadir Ismayilov and Associate Professor Parviz Kazimi delivered presentations on Azerbaijan’s library and information environment, BSU’s role in training specialists, and the development of cooperation with universities in Türkiye.

The event attracted significant interest, with participants actively engaging in discussions and Q&A.
