BSU researcher participated in “Nanoscience and Nanotechnology 2024” conference
A young researcher of BSU participated in the "Nanoscience and Nanotechnology 2024" conference traditionally organized at the National Institute of Nuclear Physics in İtaly.
Gunel Aliyeva, a young researcher of the Nano Research Laboratory of the Center of Excellence in Research, Development and Innovations of Baku State University (BSU), participated in the "Nanoscience and Nanotechnology 2024" conference traditionally organized at the National Institute of Nuclear Physics in Rome, Italy. Gunel Aliyeva’s speech entitled "Functionalization of graphene oxide with benzo[b]thiophene derivatives synthesized based on C-H activation" at the conference. Gunel Aliyeva, capture attention to the non-covalent functionalization of graphene oxide with biomolecules, pharmaceuticals, metal and metal oxide-based nanoparticles, and its application in various fields in the presentation, then gave information about the functionalized graphene oxide synthesized by the research group. It should be noted that Gunel Aliyeva's participation in the conference funded by ITC Conference Grant" ("Inclusive Target Countries") announced by "CA21126 - Carbon molecular nanostructures in space (NanoSpace)" (Action CA21126) of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST). The main goal of the grant is to support young researchers to participate in high-level conferences to present their research and establish new relationships for future collaboration. End of the presentation, Gunel Aliyeva gave information about the "(Nanospace)" (Action CA21126) project and the "ITCs Conference Grant" ("Inclusive Target Countries") grant.
