Aygun Israilova, a leading researcher at the Microbiology and Virology Laboratory of the Center for Excellence in Research, Development, and Innovation at Baku State University (BSU), will carry out research at the Center for Infectious Diseases (KUISCID) of Koç University in Türkiye.

Her research project, titled “Evaluation of the Efficacy of Azomethine and Chalcone Derivatives as Antibiofilm Agents against Staphylococcus aureus Bacteria,” will focus on developing new approaches to combating bacterial biofilms and enhancing the effectiveness of antimicrobial therapies.
