On the eve of 70th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Soil Science and Ecology Department of Baku State University founded Science and Learning Center at the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry of ANAS.

BSU rector, academician Abel Maharramov said that the Center was founded in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Baku State University and the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry of ANAS. Above mentioned agreement provides cooperation in the field of personnel training and research studies.

The event was attended by  academician Garib Mammadov, academic secretary of the Department of Agrarian Sciences of ANAS, professor Alovset Guliyev, Director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry and professor Pasha Zamanov.
