BSU scientist conducted research at NOVA University Portugal
Sevinj Nuriyeva, Senior Researcher at the Nanoresearch Laboratory of Baku State University (BSU), was the winner of the Grant Competition ‘Short-Term Scientific Mission’ (STSM) under the project CA21148 - Research and International Networking on Emerging Inorganic Chalcogenides for within the framework of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) program. She visited NOVA University Portugal on a scientific visit. The project is funded by the European Union.
The nanowires and nanocomposites synthesized by Sevinj Nuriyeva at BSU as part of the project were studied and analyzed at the Institute of Nanotechnology and Nanoscience, NOVA University Lisbon. The morphology, structure, and optical properties of the synthesized structures and nanocomposites were investigated. The obtained results were discussed, and the preparation and publication of joint scientific papers are planned for the future.
During her visit, Sevinj Nuriyeva familiarized herself with various research laboratories, participated in discussions with colleagues, and also informed them about BSU and its Nanoresearch Laboratory.
