Advisor to the Rector of Baku State University (BSU) Khalid Bayramli, researches at the Center for Excellence in Research, Development and Innovation and the Faculty of Biology Aygun Israilova and Nurlan Amrakhov attended the ”Workshop on Genome Editing” in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Workshop was organized by the Department of State and the United States Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service in collaboration with the Genetic Association in BiH and Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.

This workshop highlighted the advantages of innovative biotechnologies and their positive impact on global issues such as food security and climate change.
