A scientific paper titled "Existence of Nodal Solutions to Some Nonlinear Boundary Value Problems for Ordinary Differential Equations of Fourth Order," co-authored by Professor Ziyatkhan Aliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Baku State University (BSU), has been published in the "Electronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations" (Q1, IF: 1.087).

In this paper, the authors study the existence of nodal solutions to certain nonlinear boundary value problems for fourth-order ordinary differential equations with a spectral parameter in the boundary condition. The research first investigates the global bifurcation of solutions from zero and infinity for the corresponding nonlinear eigenvalue problems in classes with a fixed oscillation count. Using these global bifurcation results, they then prove the existence of solutions to the considered nonlinear boundary value problems with a fixed number of nodes.
