An event dedicated to Azerbaijani culture, organized by Baku State University (BSU), was held at Anhui University in Hefei, China. The event aimed to introduce Azerbaijani culture and promote the further development of cultural and academic relations between Azerbaijan and China.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized the importance of partnerships between Azerbaijan and China across various fields. He noted that the high level of trust and cooperation between the two countries creates broad opportunities for strengthening integration in culture, education, and science. The Rector also highlighted that BSU students have gained valuable international experience through participation in dual degree programs in China.

The main program of the event, attended by faculty members of BSU and Anhui University, as well as students from Azerbaijan, China, and other countries, featured performances of Azerbaijani and Chinese songs by a soloist from the BSU Cultural and Creative Center, along with a video presentation about Azerbaijan.

The event concluded with a traditional tea reception, during which participants enjoyed Azerbaijani tea and sampled national sweets.
