Baku State University (BSU) is participating in the 18th Azerbaijan International Agricultural Exhibition, Caspian Agro, with its innovative project “Irrigo – Sustainable Agricultural Ecosystem.”

President Ilham Aliyev visited the BSU stand and was briefed on the project, which features a wastewater treatment system that uses artificial intelligence to automatically determine and adjust the type and amount of fertilizers based on the needs of specific plants. The system prepares irrigation water with varying mineral compositions tailored to different crops, positively impacting both plant growth rate and morphology.

President Aliyev was also informed about BSU’s achievements in startup and technology competitions.

In addition to the main project stand, BSU is represented by a promotional booth located in the open-air section dedicated to higher education institutions.
