BSU Showcases Innovative Irrigo Project at Pakistan’s Premier Entrepreneurship Event
Baku State University (BSU) made a strong impression at SEE Pakistan 2025, the country’s largest and most influential entrepreneurship exhibition, held in Lahore from August 7 to 9.
At the heart of BSU’s participation was “Irrigo – A Sustainable Agricultural Ecosystem”, an innovative project developed by the university’s Center for Student Scientific and Technical Creativity. Designed to revolutionize sustainable farming, Irrigo reduces fresh water consumption for irrigation by purifying unsuitable water from organic pollutants, salts, and heavy metals — making it safe for use and creating a long-term irrigation solution.
SEE Pakistan 2025 brought together thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, and students from across the globe. Organized by the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP) in partnership with leading institutions such as Superior University, the University of Lahore, Sialkot University, and the Green International University, the event served as a vibrant platform for innovation, networking, and collaboration.
By presenting Irrigo on this global stage, BSU not only highlighted Azerbaijan’s growing expertise in environmental innovation but also strengthened ties with Pakistan, opening new doors for academic and entrepreneurial cooperation.
