Baku State University (BSU) participated in the International Cooperation, Globalization and Sustainable Development Goals Workshop hosted by Atatürk University (Türkiye).

Asiman Ilyasov, Advisor to the Rector of BSU on Quality Assurance, represented the university at the event.

In his address, Mr. Ilyasov highlighted BSU’s internationalization strategy, the measures implemented to enhance competitiveness and ensure sustainable development, and the outcomes achieved. He shared BSU’s best practices and stressed the vital role of international cooperation in advancing education, research and social responsibility.

The Workshop brought together representatives from universities in Azerbaijan, Morocco, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and Türkiye.

Participants explored opportunities to broaden inter-university collaboration, exchange expertise and implement initiatives supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals.
