Baku State University (BSU) and the Shymkent University of Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of understanding on enhancing cooperation as a delegation led by Rector Nurlybek Seitkulov met with BSU Rector Elchin Babayev.

BSU Rector Elchin Babayev noted that strengthening cooperation with Turkic-speaking countries, particularly Kazakhstan, is a key priority for the university.

Rector Seitkulov expressed confidence that the partnership would be long-term and productive, with a special focus on education and the humanities.

The memorandum envisages the implementation of joint scientific projects between the parties, the expansion of academic exchange programs, and the development of cooperation in the field of education.
