Baku State University (BSU) and Ege University, Türkiye, have formalized their collaboration through the signing of the "Orhun" exchange protocol. This agreement was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Ege University Rector Ilkin Shengun.

The protocol outlines opportunities for the exchange of students, researchers, and academic staff between the two institutions, fostering academic cooperation and knowledge sharing.

Ege University, founded in 1955, is a well-established institution with 19 faculties. It ranks between 1001-1200 in the QS World University Rankings, 251-300 in the QS Subject Rankings, and 1201-1500 in the Times Higher Education Rankings.
