Baku State University (BSU) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The agreement was formalized by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and the Rector of Abai University, Tilep Bolat.

The memorandum outlines plans for academic cooperation, including the exchange of students, postgraduate students, researchers, and faculty members.

Founded in 1928, Kazakh National Pedagogical University is the first university in Kazakhstan and currently ranks 671–680 in the QS World University Rankings.
