BSU Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Zhetysu University
Baku State University (BSU) and Ilyas Zhansugurov Zhetysu University in Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Zhetysu University Rector Ermek Buribayev.
The memorandum outlines plans for implementing joint projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposia, short-term courses, internships, and research activities. It also includes provisions for joint publications in scientific journals, the development of academic programs, curricula, and syllabi, as well as the exchange of academic and administrative staff, students, master’s and doctoral candidates, and researchers.
Founded in 1972, Zhetysu University is ranked 46th in the QS Asian University Rankings (Central Asia).
