BSU Signs Memorandum with Tashkent International University of Financial Management and Technology
A delegation from Tashkent International University of Financial Management and Technology (TIUFMT) in Uzbekistan, led by Rector Azizkhon Nodirov, visited Baku State University (BSU). The delegation also included Advisor to the Rector Gasan Sharipov, Head of the International Relations Department Zarifjon Khatamov, and Nur Zahdi Aldin, Director of Quality Management at Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation, Malaysia.
BSU Rector Elchin Babayev welcomed the guests and provided a comprehensive overview of the university’s history, structure, academic programs, and research activities. He emphasized BSU’s strong partnerships with leading universities in Uzbekistan and highlighted opportunities for collaboration with TIUFMT.
In his remarks, Rector Azizkhon Nodirov outlined the key areas of focus at TIUFMT and discussed potential avenues for cooperation between the two institutions.
During the meeting, both sides explored various initiatives, including the development of joint educational programs, student exchange opportunities, collaboration on international rankings, and the organization of summer and winter schools.
Following the discussions, BSU and TIUFMT signed a memorandum of cooperation. The agreement outlines plans for joint research projects, student and faculty exchanges, the creation of shared academic programs, and initiatives to enhance academic mobility.
Additionally, both universities agreed to strengthen collaboration by organizing joint conferences, seminars, and other scientific events, fostering the exchange of knowledge and expertise.
