A staff member and a student of Baku State University (BSU) have been named among the winners of the Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Scholarship Program, implemented jointly by the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation and Bakcell.

The winners are Ismayil Zeynalov, a specialist at the BSU Rector's Secretariat and a master's student at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics, and Ismayil Ibrahimzade, a BSU student.

A total of 1,851 applicants competed for the program, undergoing several stages of selection. Candidates who successfully passed the initial evaluation and testing advanced to the interview stage. Following the final assessment, the 25 highest-performing participants were selected as scholarship recipients.

As part of the program, the winners will receive practical training in artificial intelligence, data analytics, programming, and UI/UX design. The curriculum will enable participants to work on real-world projects, equipping them with hands-on experience and in-demand skills for the professions of the future.
