BSU Strengthens Academic Ties with Bukhara State University
Baku State University (BSU) hosted a delegation from Bukhara State University of Uzbekistan to explore opportunities for expanding academic cooperation between the two institutions.
The meeting was attended by Rauf Hasanov, Head of BSU’s International Relations Department; Kamala Nadzhafova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of History; Shahabbas Sharafiddinov, Head of International Cooperation at Bukhara State University; and Nutfilloh Ibragimov, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Tourism.
BSU representatives provided an overview of the university’s history, academic structure, and recent advancements in global university rankings. They emphasized the importance of international collaboration in enhancing educational quality and regional scientific potential. Recent years have seen BSU establish strong partnerships with several leading universities in Uzbekistan, including student and faculty exchange programs and joint research initiatives.
The Bukhara State University delegation shared insights into their own institutional priorities and expressed confidence in the growth of bilateral cooperation. Discussions focused on launching joint scientific conferences, establishing academic and pedagogical collaborations, and developing double-degree programs.
This meeting reflects both universities' commitment to fostering deeper regional academic integration and innovation.
