Laziz Niyazov, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Abu Ali ibn Sina Bukhara State Medical Institute, visited Baku State University (BSU).

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed between BSU and the Bukhara State Medical Institute and discussed prospects for further cooperation.

BSU Vice-Rector Shahin Panakhov noted that the memorandum plays an important role in strengthening academic collaboration. He emphasized that faculty and student exchanges, the establishment of scientific and pedagogical ties, and joint research initiatives contribute to the development of both institutions and foster closer cooperation between the two countries.

Within the framework of the memorandum, Vice-Rector Laziz Niyazov presented specific proposals for joint research projects in biology, chemistry, computer science, pharmacy, and, in particular, genetics.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation would continue to expand and reach a higher level in the future.
