BSU Strengthens Cooperation with Uzbekistan’s Bukhara International University
Sharif Baratov, Rector of Bukhara International University of Uzbekistan, visited Baku State University (BSU).
BSU Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized the strategic importance of cooperation between Azerbaijani and Uzbek universities. He noted that joint research projects and academic exchange programs play a significant role in improving the quality of higher education. The Rector added that in recent years BSU has considerably expanded its cooperation with Uzbekistan’s leading higher education institutions, achieving substantial progress in the development of bilateral partnerships.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the implementation of the cooperation agreement signed between the two universities and exchanged views on launching new joint projects in the fields of science and education. They also discussed expanding internationalization, strengthening academic and scientific cooperation, conducting joint research, and organizing faculty and student exchange programs.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides agreed to launch faculty and student exchange programs in Psychology and Pedagogy beginning with the new academic year.
