BSU student became the winner of 30th International Mathematics Olympiad in Bulgari

On July 31st through August 6th, the International Mathematics Olympiad among university students took place in Bulgaria. Third-year students Vugar Guliyev, Amil Jabiiev, and second-year student Joshgun Mamedov participated in the Olympiad under the guidance of Professor Rashid Aliyev, the Head of the Department of Mathematical Analysis at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Baku State University (BSU).
As a result of the Olympiad, Vugar Guliyev took the first place and won the gold medal. Amil Jabiiev was awarded an honorary diploma, and Joshgun Mamedov received a participant certificate. BSU Rector Elchin Babayev received the students who demonstrated high results at the Olympiad and wished them success.
