BSU Student Organisation Members Attend Leadership and Management Skills Training
The Quality Assurance Centre of Baku State University (BSU) has organised a training session on “Leadership and Management Skills” for members of the university’s student organisations, including the YENİ Club, the Student Trade Union Committee, the Student Scientific Society, and BSU Volunteers.
The training was led by Asiman Ilyasov, BSU Rector’s Adviser on Quality Assurance. Its main objectives were to unlock students’ leadership potential, strengthen their management skills, and develop their ability to work in teams, make informed decisions, and communicate effectively.
During the session, participants explored the fundamental principles of leadership, modern management approaches, team organisation, delegation of responsibilities, and problem-solving techniques. Discussions also focused on the role of leadership and management skills in student organisation activities and future professional development.
The interactive training provided students with an opportunity to exchange ideas, expand their practical knowledge, and identify areas for further personal development.
