Student of the Faculty of Law of Baku State University (BSU) Azer Seidli took part in the 44th session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe (CoE) in Strasbourg as a "Youth Delegate".

The "Youth Delegates" project is a part of the "Rejuvenating Politics" initiative, implemented by the Congress in 2014 as part of its commitement to promoting the participation of young people in public life and in the decision-making process at local and regional level. It gives young people, from the 46 Council of Europe member states, a unique opportunity to sit (without voting rights) in a European assembly alongside local and regional elected representatives. They can make their voices heard, be part of a diverse group of young activists, build a network and have an impact by stimulating debate from a youth perspective.
