An event dedicated to the 4SI Academy – National Programme was held as part of the Baku ID 2026 innovation festival, with the Centre for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM), operating under the Ministry of Economy, serving as a strategic partner.

Asiya Garayeva, a third-year student at the Faculty of Physics of Baku State University (BSU), received a Certificate of High Achievement in the “Self-Development Champion” category in recognition of her accomplishments under the 4SI Academy – National Programme. She successfully completed 22 courses on physics and its various applications through the Coursera platform, earning a certificate for each course.

Participants who distinguished themselves across 12 categories under the National Programme were recognised at the event. The award ceremony was attended by Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Economic Affairs and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration; Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Economy; Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education; Rovshan Najaf, President of SOCAR; and Farid Mammadov, Chief Executive Officer of PASHA Financial Holding.

The 4SI Academy – National Programme is jointly implemented by the Centre for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM), under the Ministry of Economy; the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, under the Ministry of Science and Education; and the US-based company Coursera. The programme aims to contribute to the development of the digital economy, support the formation of competitive human capital, and promote skills development in line with the demands of the modern labour market. To this end, more than 21,000 courses on the Coursera platform are made available to citizens free of charge.

The programme is implemented through a public-private partnership. PASHA Holding, SOCAR, bp, Azerconnect Group, TotalEnergies, XRG, JOCAP, Norm Cement, Smart Solutions Group, and B2B Group are key partners in its main phase, contributing within the framework of their corporate social responsibility initiatives.
