BSU Student Wins “Azad Mirzacanzade Development Program”

Saida Rahimli, a student of the Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science at Baku State University (BSU), has become a winner of the “Azad Mirzacanzade Development Program” organized by the “Regional Development” Public Association with her project titled “CMC-Vessel.”
The program attracted applications from over 100 students representing various universities. In the final stage, 10 innovative projects were awarded financial support.
The CMC-Vessel project focuses on cleaning the aquatic environment of the Caspian Sea from oil-based pollutants and plastic waste. A prototype of the vessel will be developed by a team of BSU students at the university’s Center for Student Scientific and Technical Creativity.
