BSU students and young reseachers take part in ITACA-2019-2023 project (Innovative Training Center to support a 3rd cycle Advanced Education Course to face Environmental Emergency in Azerbaijan (ITACA)) as a project partner.

Students of the Innovative Training Center, created as a part of the project, will take part in three -month research practice: a doctoral student of the Department of Ecological Chemistry Medina Nabiyeva - at the University of Granada, Spain and doctoral student of the Department of Analytical Chemistry Tahir Javadzade - at the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy.

Professor Sevinj Rafig Hajiyeva, Head of the Department of Ecological Chemistry is the leader of the ITACA project at BSU.

ITACA project deals with the design and building up of a Training Center, involving EU and local institutions, as well as enterprises active in the field of environmental impact of oil and gas production, to contribute to the strengthening of the relationship between university and industry.
