BSU Students Gain Insights into Modern Geotechnologies and Sustainable Mineral Development

A training session on "Modern Geotechnologies and Mineral Resource Development" was recently held for students of the Geology Department at Baku State University (BSU).

During the session, Rasim Ismailov, PhD and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mineral Resources, delivered a detailed presentation on the application of modern geotechnologies, the stages of mineral resource development, environmental safety considerations, and innovative approaches in the field. The training also highlighted practical examples of how scientific knowledge is applied in modern mineral production.

The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, allowing students to engage directly with the speaker and deepen their understanding of the topic.

Following the training, participants visited the BSU Mineral Resources Museum, further enhancing their exposure to the practical and historical aspects of geology and mineral resource studies.
