Students from the Geography Department of Baku State University (BSU) participated in an online internship course organized by the Roscongress Russia Foundation. The students were guided by their scientific supervisor, Irken Aktoprak, a senior lecturer in the Department of Physical Geography.

As part of the internship, the students also took part in the project competition "Land of Fire of Azerbaijan." Vladislav Gurevich, Head of the Roscongress Foundation internship program, praised the active involvement of BSU students in the project.

The articles submitted by the students explored topics such as the nature, history, prominent figures, and modern realities of Azerbaijan. According to the competition results, the works of 11 Geography Department students from BSU were recognized as among the best in the final stage.
