At the initiative of Zaur Aliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Baku State University (BSU), students have prepared a textbook for schoolchildren titled “In Light of the Basic Law – The Constitution,” dedicated to the Year of Constitution and Sovereignty.

This is the first publication of its kind in the country. The authors of the textbook are last year’s graduate of the Faculty of Law Veysel Mirzazade, along with students Ziyeddin Ismayilov, Nigar Agakerimova, Zhale Nuriyeva, Nazrin Dadashova, Nilufer Gedimli, Regima Agayeva, and Zhale Rahimova.

Esmer Aliyeva, Head of the Department of Civil Procedure and Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law, served as the scientific reviewer of the textbook.

This publication is an important educational initiative aimed at expanding the legal knowledge of schoolchildren, strengthening constitutional awareness, and fostering civic values. Designed to promote legal culture and critical legal thinking among the younger generation, the textbook is expected to make a meaningful contribution to their legal education.
