The BDU TETYM team from Baku State University (BSU) won third place in the FICS 2025 startup competition and qualified for the grand final, which will take place in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan this August.

The first stage of the international competition Finding Innovative and Creative Solutions (FICS) was held on May 27, jointly organized by Azerbaijan Technical University and the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) of Pakistan. The event brought together 60 teams from 21 Azerbaijani universities, along with 2 teams from a university in Kazakhstan.

FICS, launched in 2013, is one of Pakistan’s largest and most prestigious startup competitions, aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among university students.
