The "Belt and Road" International Inter-University Startup Competition is currently underway in Xi'an, People's Republic of China.

This prestigious event brings together 14 teams from Japan, the UK, Turkey, Russia, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, along with 22 teams from China. Participants are competing in four categories: Green Technologies, Scientific Innovations, Digital Technologies, and Health Technologies.

Representing Azerbaijan, Baku State University’s (BSU) "DAIGNOSIS" team is the sole Azerbaijani competitor in this global arena.

The BSU team’s project showcases an innovative use of artificial intelligence in medicine. They are presenting a mobile application that connects doctors and patients on an online platform. The app uses AI to provide an initial diagnosis based on patients' reported symptoms, recommends suitable medical specialists, and facilitates preliminary online consultations.
