BSU Team Wins Prize at “Sumqayit Cup” Programming Competition

The “BSU 1” team from Baku State University (BSU) secured third place at the national programming competition “Sumqayit Cup.” The team was led by Ismail Zeynalov, a specialist at the BSU Rector’s Secretariat, and included students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics — Mehdi Mammadov, Elshen Maharramov, and Kamil Huseynov.

The competition was held in Sumqayit and jointly organized by the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development, the Institute of Education, the Sumqayit Innovation Center, Sumqayit State University, and the Azerbaijani Community of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC).

The primary aim of the competition was to enhance participants’ programming skills and algorithmic thinking, foster a healthy competitive environment, and identify innovation-oriented talent.
