BSU, The Alexandru Ioan Cuza University sign protocol on Erasmus exchange programme
Baku State University (BSU) and The Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Romania have signed a Protocol on the Erasmus exchange programme.
The Protocol provides for the mutual exchange of students, academic and administrative staff. The main goal of cooperation is the development of relations between BSU and The Alexandru Ioan Cuza University.
The agreement was signed by BSU rector Elchin Babayev and Tudorel Toader, rector of The Alexandru Ioan Cuza University.
Founded one year after the establishment of the Romanian state, by an 1860 decree of Prince Alexandru Ioan Cuza, under whom the former Academia Mihăileană was converted to a university, the University of Iași, as it was named at first, is the oldest university of Romania, and one of its advanced research and education institutions. According to QS WUR, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University was included in the Top universities of the world, on the position 1201+.
