A meeting of the Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union Houlin Zhao and  BSU faculty and students  was held at  Baku State University.
The meeting is intended to establish and build contacts between the International Telecommunication and    Baku State University to change of experience in the field of ICT.
Rector Elchin Babayev made opening speech and introduced the 100-year history of BSU. He informed about the  current situation in the telecommunications sector of Azerbaijan, as well as  goals and targets in this area.
Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union Houlin Zhao said that  Azerbaijan has established partnerships with many leading ICT companies. He expressed interest in establishing contacts with BSU.
At the end of the meeting Houlin Zhao answered questions from students.
