BSU to cooperate with Izmir Institute of Technology
Baku State University (BSU) and Izmir Institute of Technology have signed a cooperation agreement.
The signing ceremony was attended by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev, Rector of the Izmir Institute of Technology Yusuf Baran, the Vice-rector for science and innovation of BSU Huseyn Mammadov and Advisor to the Rector for Strategic Development and Communications Ali Nagiyev.
BSU Rector Elchin Babayev informed about the history and international relations of BSU. He also highlighted mutually beneficial relations between the Turkish universities and Baku State University. Rector of the Izmir Institute of Technology Yusuf Baran, in turn, said that he would make every effort to expand bilateral cooperation between universities.
Izmir Institute of Technology was founded in 1992. The main fields of study that can be accessed at the İzmir Institute of Technology are science and technology. YTE has 16 academic departments, most of which are organized in 3 faculties.
