Rector of Baku State University Elchin Babayev met with Aytan Karimova, Head of HR at State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Mirali Kazimov, the Acting Head of the Training Center on March 3, 2022.

The meeting discussed issues related to the training on Tax Law at BSU, creation of Tax Law Clinic, internships and students career programs at State Tax Service.

BSU Rector Elchin Babayev stressed the effective cooperation between BSU and State Tax Service. He noted that there is a need for specialists in tax law and tax advocacy in both the public and private sectors. He also emphasized the importance of the trainings on tax law and tax advocacy at BSU.

Aytan Karimova said that the parties plan to conduct a number of actions such as "Career Days", "Summer School" and trainings programs within the Acting Plan developed between BSU and   State Tax Service.
