BSU to Observe planetary parade
On March 3, Baku State University (BSU) will host an astronomical observation of the planetary parade.
Six planets will participate in this rare celestial event, during which they will align in a single line across the sky. The planets will appear in the following order from the Sun: Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Saturn, Uranus, and Jupiter.
The Grand Parade of Planets will be visible for approximately one hour immediately after sunset, which occurs at 6:34 PM. Mercury, Venus, Neptune, and Saturn will first appear along the western horizon, aligned in the direction of sunset.
The observation will take place in the courtyard in front of the BSU Student Science and Technology Creativity Center and will be conducted using a Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, allowing attendees to view this spectacular alignment in detail.
