The Baku State University (BSU) and  Turkic World Studies International Academy of Sciences signed an agreement on cooperation. The agreement was signed by BSU rector Abel Maharramov and the Academy`s chairman Hayrettin Ivgin in Baku.
Speaking prior to the signing ceremony, Maharramov praised the Azerbaijan-Turkey relations, saying the two countries` people “are bound together by ties of history and friendship”.
He highlighted Azerbaijan`s achievements under President Ilham Aliyev.
Maharramov also spoke of the Baku State University`s international relations.
Ivgin highlighted the activities of the Turkic World Studies International Academy of Sciences.
He noted Maharramov was elected a full member of the Turkic World Studies International Academy of Sciences, and presented the BSU rector with a diploma.
