BSU Vice-rector made presentation on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)

Vice-Rector for International Relations of Baku State University (BSU), Associate Professor Shahin Panahov held a scientific seminar on the topic "Sustainable Development Goals and their implementation in the field of education".

The Sustainable Development Goals or Global Goals are a collection of seventeen interlinked objectives designed to serve as a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. The global indicator framework for Sustainable Development Goals was developed by the Inter-Agency and Expert Group on SDG Indicators (IAEG-SDGs) and agreed upon at the 48th session of the United Nations Statistical Commission held in March 2017. The global indicator framework includes 231 unique indicators. The total number of indicators listed in the global indicator framework of SDG indicators is 248.
