The International Academy of Sciences and Higher Education (IASHE; Great Britain) in collaboration with its partner on the territories of post soviet states All-Ukrainian Academic Union (AUAU; Kiev-Odessa) conducted research analytics national championships (for former USSR republics) and “Open Euro-Asian research analytics championship”. These championships were held in experimental format set out in “Temporary regulations of national and regional research analytics championships in post-Soviet countries (former USSR republics) and other countries in 2012”.

As a result, Baku State University was the nominee of the following IASHE ratings:

1. United Asian-European rating of scientific and research activity (UGRAR) – the 1-st place.

2. United Asian-European rating of young scientists scientific and research activity (YGRAR) – the 3-d place.

3. United Asian-European rating of scientific and research effectiveness (UGRER) – the 2-d place.

4. United Asian-European rating of young scientists scientific and research  effectiveness (YGRER) – the 21-st place.

In addition, BSU was awarded the “International Socrates Award" – given by the

Expert Council of IASHE.
