On December 14-15, Faculty of Oriental Studies will host an international scientific conference “Azerbaijani oriental studies in the context of East-West scientific-cultural and socio-political dialogue” as part of the celebrations of its 100th anniversary.

The Conference will be attended by well-known scientists and orientalists from Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Poland and Azerbaijan. Participants will make presentations on "Cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Eastern countries", "Written monuments of Eastern peoples", "Medieval Eastern literature", "Modern Eastern literature", "Actual problems of Turkology", "Scientific and cultural relations of the Turkic world" etc.
