Baku State University’s (BSU) ESST-6 team secured third place at the prestigious TEKNOFEST-2024 Aerospace Engineering and Technology Festival. Competing in the Agricultural Technologies category, the team impressed judges with their innovative project, E-agriculture irrigation, which aims to revolutionize smart irrigation.

The E-agriculture irrigation system is designed to optimize water usage in agriculture, delivering precise amounts of water to crops, thereby minimizing waste. By implementing this efficient water management system, the project seeks to enhance the speed and efficiency of irrigation while boosting the productivity of agricultural workers.

TEKNOFEST-2024 saw fierce competition, with 1,270 teams and 6,514 finalists battling it out in various categories.

The festival’s award ceremony will be held from October 2 to 6 at the Şakirpaşa Airport in Adana, Türkiye.
