According to information from Clarivate Analytics agency, BSU's Hirsch Index increased by 6 points in 2023, reaching a value of 60. This solidifies BSU's leadership among Azerbaijani universities. The average number of citations per work increased from 6.12 to 7.46. According to the agency, employees, doctoral students, and students of BSU have already published 4213 scientific works in journals included in the Web of Science database. These works have been cited over 31,000 times. At BSU, where research is conducted on approximately 200 topics, they prefer interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies.
